Cheerleading Theme Party

Gimme a C.  Gimme an H. Double the E. Gimme a R. Gimme a GIRL. What’ve you got? The makings for the perfect cheerleading party or practice event! Cheerleaders are fun, full of energy and spirit, and make great role models. Plus, they always get the cute boys! A cheerleading theme party will channel all that spirit and high-energy and fun.

Let your pride and spirit show! Decorate with pink, purple, lavender and white balloons. These "Let's Cheer" paper plates and tableware go perfect with this theme! Choose a table cloth in a solid color with a complementary color for the paper products and plastic ware. Use light up whistles as napkin rings. Place stadium plastic cups in your team colors on the table—one for each girl—filled with nuts, candy, funtoos, etc. Wrap with cellophane and tie with ribbon in your colors for party favors to take home! Prior to practice, have the girls decorate their faces with face tattoos, face paint and glitter and let them know there will be prizes for the one that shows the most spirit and creativity. Hold your usual practice. Then…the real fun begins.
 
Grab some microphones and have each girl perform their favorite cheer. Judging will be done on originality and difficulty. After each performance, play the cheer back and listen to the hoots and howls! Have a panel of judges (or the girls) rate each on a scale of 1 to 10 (like in the Olympics).
