SO MUCH FUN- Outdoor/Camping Birthday (For older kids)
| Party Type: |
Birthday |
| Invitation: |
It looked like a brochure for a really fun camp with all the details on it and the RSVP being for the 'signup'. (Got that idea from this website, one of the ideas from last year. :D)
|
| Decor: |
Well, I had it in my backyard and down near the woods there are all kinds of trees and the ground covered with ivy and colorful stones and everything. But I suppose if you didn't have a cool backyard you could always buy fake stuff from a craft store or plants from the local nursery. Then of course there were the tents, two big ones which we put entrance-to-entrance so all twelve of us could fit together. I strung those with colored paper lanterns on the inside and outside; really cool looking.

| Food: |
We made our own little pita-pizza meals on the campfire, then took them inside to eat on the table, with salad and soda and stuff. And of course for dessert we had cake, which was decorated with fake trees and a fake campfire, and made s'mores late into the night.
|
| Music: |
We had a radio and I made a CD of everyone's favorite songs, just playing them randomly.
|
| Highlight: |
This was a LOAD of fun: While we were eating inside, my dad snuck into the tent and secretly stole everyone's stuff; for example their sleeping bag or bag of clothes. Previously I had made up cards with clues for each girl that directed them to a place where their stuff was hidden, all of them signed by "The Bear" and with a pawprint (which was really my dog's pawp |
