i made homemade personalized invitations including lots of colour. it included the usual stuff: date, location, etc.

we decorated my basement with a big "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" banner, streamers, confetti, and we blew up a ton of balloons and scattered them all on the floor.

pretty much EVERYTHING. chips and soda. my parents also ordered pizza and a marble cake.

| Music: |
i had all of my guests bring their favorite CDs. i have a turntable with a CD slot in it connected to a huge stereo, and anyone was welcome to change the music to their liking. :]

| Highlight: |
we had a silly string fight, and we basically hung out the whole time. we acted silly, and we played glow-in-the-dark tag in my basement. two of my friends stayed late and we did kareoke and dancing. one amazing night.
