Birthday |
Invitation: |
The invite should have anything relating to theatre, Hollywood, Broadway, etc., but black with glitter always works.
|
Decor: |
There should be a red carpet (or plastic tablecloth : ) from the door of the party room extending to a wall where there's a stage with mic/karaoke essentials and backdrop. Tables should be set up in a circle around the dance floor with two colors of tablecloths (Red& Black or Turquoise & Lime Green work well) with a centerpice of a star with the honoree's photo on it. Pick three colors and work with those for your decor and have fun.

Food: |
Finger foods are a must. Anything such as wings, taco bites, shrimp and chocolate are good. Does the guest of honor have a favorite food or ethnic style? Play it up in mini form. Here's an irregular but fun option: POPCORN BAR! Have hot and fresh popcorn with different seasonings labeled with movie names for instance, a Really Spicy one can be "Some Like it Hot" for sugar/cinna try "Diamonds Are a Girls Best Friend (sugar crystals) and for parmesan and chili powder "The Italian Job." Use sparkling red and white grape juices for "wine" and "champagne."
