Party Tip of the Week

Having a party at a hall or in a ballroom and your numbers are out of control? Well, if kids are involved and you’re having a kids' buffet, don’t seat them all. Kids never sit down all at one time anyway, and you can save money and space by seating 1/2 or 2/3's.

Party Dip of the Week

Chocolate Peanut Butter Dip
From: Sesame Street Magazine's Parents Guide, Sept. 1991 issue.

Ingredients:

Use an assortment of dippers ... fruit, cookies, pretzels.

  • 3 oz. pkg cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 C. Creamy peanut butter
  • 1 dash Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 C. Chocolate syrup
  • 2 T. Milk
  • Assorted cut-up fruit
  • Assorted cookies
  • Pretzels

In large bowl with electric mixer on medium, beat cream cheese, peanut butter, and cinnamon until smooth. Gradually beat in chocolate syrup and milk until well blended. Serve with fruit, cookies, or pretzels. Prep time: 5 minutes.
