Pep Squad Girls Cheerleading Party

Gimme a P. Gimme an E. Gimme another P. Gimme a GIRL. What’ve you got? The makings for the perfect cheerleading party or practice event. Cheerleaders are fun, full of energy and spirit, and make great role models. Plus, they always get the cute boys! A Pepsquad Girls cheerleading theme will channel all that spirit and high-energy and fun.

Invitations:

Notify all the girls on your squad that you’re going to have a really fun practice. Ask them to bring their favorite Pepsquad Girls doll as their personal mascots. Tell the girls to be prepared to practice and compete with their favorite cheer, for fabulous prizes!

Decorations:

Let your pride and spirit show! Decorate with balloons. Decorate the squad with wrist streamers, batons and pom-poms of your team’s colors, and add a Party411 life-sized cheerleader cut-out that can be personalized with your face and a word balloon with your favorite cheer!

Tables:

Choose a table cloth in a solid color with a complementary color for the paper products and plastic ware. Use metal whistles as napkin rings. Place stadium plastic cups in your team colors on the table—one for each girl—filled with nuts, candy, funtoos, etc. Wrap with cellophane and tie with ribbon in your colors for party favors to take home! You can also get water bottle labels from Party411. All that workout will make the girls thrilled to have the water and when they see their team’s name and colors on it, they’ll shout out with delight. (That is, if they have voices left!)

Centerpiece:

What better centerpiece that all the Pepsquad Girl dolls for the center of the table, posed by each girl in their favorite cheering stance. For the centerpiece, have an inverted megaphone with balloon bouquets in team colors rising out of the center. You can add a Mylar football, soccer or basketball balloon to the center of the bouquet for extra pizzazz. Scatter metallic pompoms on the table for extra color.

Food:

After the practice session and contests (see Activities below), the girls will be starved and thirsty! Serve pizza in addition to lots of veggies and fruit. Serve munching popcorn in small plastic megaphones on the tables.

Party Favors:

In addition to the cellophane-wrapped sports cups, have Party411 custom-create "Get into the Happy Birthday Spirit with Cindi" candy wrappers with your team's favorite cheer on them. Have plenty of extra plastic megaphones and pom-poms on hand for the girls to practice their favorite cheers and to cheer their favorites on to victory in competitions.

Activities:

Prior to practice, have the girls decorate their faces with face tattoos, face paint and glitter and let them know there will be prizes for the one that shows the most spirit and creativity. Hold your usual practice. Then…the real fun begins. Pepsquad Girl dolls come with recordable microphones. Using these, have each girl perform their favorite cheer. Judging will be done on originality and difficulty. After each performance, play the cheer back and listen to the hoots and howls! Have a panel of judges (or the girls) rate each on a scale of 1 to 10 (like in the Olympics). Lots of fabulous prizes can be awarded, spirit T-Shirts, hanging medals on ribbons and sport award medals to team spirit kazoos, pompoms, megaphones, etc.
