American Idol

A Bar or Bat Mitzvah Theme

American Idol is hot!  People of all ages watch the show and we've met a ton of Bar and Bat Mitzvah kids who say it's their favorite show! Here's your chance to be the star of the evening with an American Idol theme Bar or Bat Mitzvah!

Welcome Area

At the front entrance have lifesize cut-outs of Ryan Seacrest, the 3 American Idol judges with the Bar/Bat Mitzvah boy/girl and a sign that says:

Welcome to American Idol
Hosted by Ryan Seacrest
and starring ME!

The judges and Ryan should have fun speech bubbles as well!

We've got caricature art of Ryan Seacrest and the other American Idol judges.  Interested?  Send us an e-mail!

Sign-in Board or Book

Have friends and family leave their "Congratulations" on a sign in board with the American Idol logo that says:

Tell (Child's Name) He/She is Your Idol!

Or have a 3D sign in book personalized for your child.  (Check out the music designs!)

Seating Cards & Seating Cards Sign

Seating cards are "tickets" to the show. Seating card sign should say something like:

Take your ballot to your seat and vote for America’s Idol!    

or    Backstage pass seating cards also make great seating cards.  They can be laminated and put on a chain for your guests to wear during the evening.

or    a Ballot to choose the American Idol - every box is your child's name!

Assign the adults to tables. Have the kids sit in an area designated by an overhead sign that says "Balcony" or "Backstage".

The Party Room

Tables:

    • Centerpieces/Adults:  Small 2-sided cutouts of the Bar or Bat Mitzvah boy or girl waving, coming out of a base with the American Idol logo

    • Centerpieces/Kids: Small TVs with the American Idol logo added - donate the TVs after the event to charity

Cocktail Napkins: American Idol cocktail napkins, of course.  (Get plenty for cocktails and dessert)

Napkin Rings: Microphone bling necklaces for your guests to wear

DJ/Band Area: Backdrop sign: (CHILD'S NAME) - 2008 American Idol!

Personalized Cameras: personalized Bar and Bat Mitzvah cameras on each table to take pictures of your guests singing at the seats!
