"Blank Check" Appreciation Awards Luncheon

This is a great way for a company to show its appreciation for its employees. Although geared for a bank, this could be adapted for any company.

Invitations

Use a blank check graphic for the invitations that say, “Company Appreciation Awards Luncheon/Come and get your blank check! We want to thank you for your hard work on date, time, at place.”

Welcome Area

Have a welcome banner that says,

“(EFG Company)

Gives Its Employees a

"Blank Check"

when it comes to APPRECIATION!”

Fill the entrance with balloon bouquets in bright colors and some metallic streamers to greet employees.

At the registration table, have seating cards be a "Blank Check of Appreciation." The check will be written to the guest with the table number assigned where the check number normally goes.

Decorations

Show your employees that they are appreciated with lots of balloons and stars because they are the stars of your company.

For the podium backdrop, have a giant 3x12' check written to (EFG Company). The event date should be written in and the amount will be written in as "a million thanks". Have whoever is in charge sign the check.

Tables

At each place setting have a very fancy "thank you" balloon with a gift inside. The gift, a chocolate "blank" check, will be gift-wrapped and inserted along with confetti inside the balloon. Tie off the ribbon with a fabulous bow with matching ribbons cascading down. The tables will look fabulous!

Centerpiece

For the centerpieces, use an even larger balloon with more items stuffed inside and with balloons attached at the top, which gives the centerpiece height and makes the room very festive. Adorn the table around the centerpiece with "thank you" confetti.
 

When your guests take their seats, they pop the balloon to retrieve their gift. This is fun for everyone - especially when the confetti bursts forth.

Favors

Of course, a personalized candy bar designed to look like a blank check should be given out to every employee and guest as they arrive or better yet, put one at each place setting.

A great favor for an employee appreciation party is a gift certificate or days off! Hand out $10 to $20 dollar gift certificates to a local restaurant, café, ice cream shop, or mall. Using certificates that look like blank checks write on the amount line, “Good for 3 hours off of one Friday in June” and in the pay to the order of line write the employees name. This favor will really tell your employees that they are appreciated!
