First Impression/Entrance

• Put up lights crossing over driveway every 15 feet starting approximately half way down the drive to look like spotlights shining in the sky, and/or hire a local lighting company to put on a dancing light show with dancing tubes, lit with beams, 40’ tall

Valet Parking (if available)

• Valet parkers dressed in space suits wearing lapel pin strobes
• Two futuristic "out of this world" paparazzi stand-up cut-outs taking guests’ pictures as they walk in; bulbs popping

Entrance

• Canopy Silver/Mylar Time Tunnel

1. new age music plays as guests walk through canopy to main area of the event
2. walls in this tunnel are covered with silver Mylar
3. on the walls, years are sprawled: 1910, 1920—so on and so forth—blinking on and off
4. this canopy is lit with rows and rows of chasing lights on the ceiling and covering the frame
5. canopy empties into high tech stainless steel truss

• High tech lighting attached to truss
• Three rotating octagonal wheels with colored lenses scanning ceiling, walls and floor
• Added to this, the new year, reflected on the floor leading to ballroom

Ballroom/Dance Floor

• Lost in Space: black twilight representing the galaxy

1. blackout curtains enclosing main party area and the dance floor
2. dripping bee lights hanging from top of pipe and drape listed above
3. centerpieces: battery operated bee lights climbing a dowel rod to a large Mylar [year] at the top out of silver triangular base

Dance Floor Only

• "Space Station [your name here] Disco"

1. an array of different colored bee lights outlining the entire stage
2. above the stage, "MAGIC OF THE NEW YEAR COMES TO SPACE STATION [your name here]," lit and fabulous
3. stage left: a huge clock so people can watch it strike midnight
4. coming off top of lighting truss, a "roto-globe" showering the room with long slender beams
5. at midnight, 6 rotating drums provide an explosion of colored beams dancing across the room to the beat of the music, with [the new year] scanning the walls and ceiling as well

1^st Bar Area

• "Space Station [your name here] Zero Gravity Lounge"
• Blinking lights throughout
• Oversized Floating Objects in different parts of room, upside down and sideways:

1. large fork

2nd Bar Area

• Two large acrylic tubes with lighting flashing on and off within at entrance
• Large bar w/bartenders wearing space suits
• Over Bar: signage (2x6): "SPACE STATION [your name here] BRIDGE BAR," lit
• Silver Mylar pipe and drape in various places throughout room mixed with truss and lighting to give "space station/futuristic" effect
