Mouse and Modem Help Make Party Planning A Blast!
Mark Hamill Hosts Special Report
Boca Raton, Fl - Mark Hamill, star of Star Wars, hosts another upcoming
episode of the ".com" series, scheduled to air as paid programming on
CNBC, Saturday, May 27th at Noon Eastern Time. Now in its fifth season,
".com" explores the latest technological innovations and the rapidly
evolving Internet landscape.
The program includes a special report entitled, One-Stop Party Planning,
which discovers a Web site dedicated to organizing successful event celebrations
- announced Ron Godfrey, the shows Executive Producer.
More and more people are turning to technology to make their parties and
special events memorable and fun. One of the most useful tools around is the
Internet. Located on the Web at www.party411.com, this site is the most visited
online party planning service. At the click of a button, this one-stop site has
everything from how-to-advice to yellow pages for party vendors and over 250
theme ideas. Tune in as we discover how to plan a successful celebration that
won't soon be forgotten.
"Even in today's information age where we place a premium on
communication, many people still have anxiety about planning social and
corporate events," said Patty Elliott, Co-Executive Producer of the series.
"With advice from site experts, Etiquette Queen, Game Girl, and Party
Doctor, most of the guess work is removed so the host can enjoy the celebration
along with their guests."
In addition to national broadcast on ".com," the special report
will be reformatted and distributed via satellite as a Video News Release to
over 750 domestic television stations. Like all of TVI's productions, the story
is available for viewing on the Internet.
The ".com" viewer site, www.tvi.net, allows visitors to watch One-Stop Party
Planning and other stories in their entirety, on-demand, and in full motion
video after the program has aired. From the site, visitors access information
