PARTY411.COM SENDS HOSPITALIZED CHILDREN'S HEARTS-A-FLUTTER WITH DONATED
PARTIES
Cleveland, Ohio -- Party411.com, an online event planning website, is
sponsoring Hearts-a-Flutter parties for
hospitalized children on Valentines Day, February
14th, in cities around the country. Local hospital volunteers will host these
Valentines Day parties for anywhere from 50 to 200 children, depending on the
size of the hospital. Party411.com provides each hospital with all the necessary
decorations, games, toys, and activities from Party411.com.
Among the hospitals participating are: Johns Hopkins Children's Center in
Baltimore, Maryland; Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford; Children's
Hospital of Austin, Texas; Children's Hospital of Philadelphia; Children's
Medical Center of Dallas, Texas; Nebraska Health Systems in Omaha, Nebraska;
Children's Hospital of Omaha, Nebraska; Children's National Medical Center in
Washington D.C.; Children's Health Care of Atlanta at Egleston; Rainbow Babies
& Children's Hospital of Cleveland, Ohio; Babies and Children's Hospital of
Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York, Children's Memorial Hospital of
Chicago, Illinois; Children's Hospital of Michigan, Detroit; and Children's
Hospital, Boston.
"We are certainly excited about the initiative of Party411.com,"
says Mary Bowers, Child Life Specialist at Rainbow Babies & Children's
Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. "Parties like Hearts-A-Flutter normalize life
for hospitalized children and give them something positive to anticipate. It
also gives families the opportunity to share a good experience together at a
time when things can be negative. People need celebrations that are normally a
part of childhood and Valentine's Day is one of those."
Party411.com founder Sherri Foxman believes that investing in the community
and in children is an important part of corporate responsibility. "Children
are our future. Valentine's Day is a holiday belonging to children everywhere.
Hearts-A-Flutter will give hospitalized children an opportunity to play, have
fun and celebrate the relationships that are important to them," says Ms.
Foxman.
In its tradition of celebrating many holidays and occasions, Party411.com
committed to sponsoring Hearts-A-Flutter in the designated cities since
community service and philanthropy are core values for the Cleveland, Ohio based
Internet company.
