St. Patrick's Day

Sham-ROCK the House!

A wee bit o’celebration is just what you need for St. Patrick’s Day and shamrocks are the perfect theme.  Since many states have passed laws for smoke-free bars, I bet there are going to be a lot more St. Patty’s Day parties hosted by the O’Conners, the O’Grady’s and the O’Whatheirnames!

Here is an easy, step-by-step Just Add Guests™ St. Patrick’s Day party that will make planning as easy as kissing the blarney stone.  Do it all, or just do some.  Either way, it’ll be a party one will remember at the top o’ the morning the next day!

DIRECTIONS

Invitation

• Add a St. Patty’s Day shamrock confetti to your homemade invitation (or to our custom one), and make sure to tell your guests to wear it with originality and creativity as part of their shamrock-themed St. Pat’s outfit.  Guests will be awarded on creativity!! 

The Approach

• Put a shamrock door curtain on or over your front door—now that’s a way to announce a party.

• Hang shamrock glitter cutouts from the ceiling of your foyer (if you have a foyer).

• Have some Irish party music on near the door!

First Impression Decor

• Add green and gold bows on the door and on the railings of any seeable banisters.

• Personalize Your Party!!  Place leprechaun cut-outs with your face(s) welcoming all of your guests (you can even add a speech bubble!)

Dress Your Guests

• Put out a basket with green leis and green boas near the leprechaun cut-out so that your guests can put them on as they walk in.

• And dress your bartenders and servers (if you have them) in our shamrock vests.

For a Spectacular Tabletop

Set the table using…

• Our shamrock paper goods have matching beer bottle labels and more!

• Scatter shamrock confetti across the tables and bars.

• Use shamrock sequin hat or our shamrock velvet hats with balloons as your centerpieces.

• Put an Irish magic hat at each place (great pix once again!).

• Wrap the shamrock napkins with a Shamrock Bracelet (doubles as a favor, how about that?) or green glow bracelets to make the table spectacular.

• Add a green glow cup or at minimum green glow straws at each place (or at the bar).

Buffets/Bars

• Behind the buffet, use a St. Pat's Clover Scene Setter for background.
