A Halloween Pumpkin Festival

JUST ADD GUESTS™ Recipe

What’s better than using pumpkins as your theme for your Halloween party?  Here’s a step-by-step plan to which you Just Add Guests™…  Use pieces and parts or do it all—and just add some entertainment (like a pumpkin carving contest, pumpkin cookie decorating contest, etc.)…if you’d like.

 DIRECTIONS

Halloween Party Invitation

• Draw a Jack o Lantern on a sheet of paper. Use the same creativity you use when you carve a pumpkin. This is a great project for the kids and makes for some fun, and interesting, invites.  Add Halloween Confetti or a handful of candy corn or better yet, Halloween M&Ms.
• Buy a card at your local gift store.  This time of year you’ll have no trouble finding a card that fits the theme.

The Approach

• Attach a personalized Halloween “pumpkin” banner to the front of your house or in your foyer.

• Attach a black and orange door cover in pumpkin orange!

• Add a group of orange and black balloons to your mailbox so the house is easy to find and put a bouquet on either side of your front door, weather permitting.

• Use a Pumpkin lawn sign to welcome your guests.

First Impression Decor

• Under a pumpkin wall grabber, put a basket of pumpkin beads at the front door for guests to grab or boas if budget allows.
• Welcome your guests with an air blown pumpkin. At 4’ tall they can’t miss it! 

Personalize Your Party!!  Place a pumpkin, witch, mummy or other cut-out with your face(s) welcoming all (you can even add a speech bubble).  The pumpkin’s our favorite. 

Tabletop

Set the table:

• Cover the table with an orange tablecover.   
• Set the table with. Boo Prismatic 9” pumpkin plates or for a different look.
• Put a 9 oz. pumpkin cup with a matching napkin fluffed and coming out at each place.  
• Insert plastic orange and/or black fork, knife and spoon in napkin and then tie Halloween necklace or special pumpkin beads  around it for a favor and napkin ring in one. 
• Set out a real pumpkin as your centerpiece (carved or un-)! Or our inflatable pumpkin filled with breads or fruit or whatever you choose. And scatter 6” Pumpkin candles around the table. 
• Scatter Halloween Confetti anywhere and everywhere! 
• Use pumpkin lights to light up your table.
• Place a candy-filled pumpkin at each place.

Bars/Buffets

• Put out pumpkins mixed in with your serving pieces filled with flowers, dips, whatever. 

• Hang or place our 7’ stack o’lanterns on either side of the buffet. 

• Use our 12” inflatable pumpkin bowl for candy, chips and more even if you used it as a centerpiece! 

Personalize Your Party!  Cover over beer bottle and water bottles with your own personalized bottle label.

Entertainment

• Place one of our Halloween CDs of Halloween Party Music at the door or throughout. 

• Challenge everyone with a pumpkin piñata filled with goodies. 

• Set up a pumpkin punch ball for guests to release their frustrations.

Photo Opportunity

Personalize Your Party!!  Place one of our HALLOWEEN photo ops in a corner with a Polaroid or single-use camera for some great souvenirs.

Favors

• Flashing pumpkin rings for all.

• Fill a pumpkin loot bag with Halloween candy for when guests leave.
