You can sprinkle a little pumpkin confetti in the envelope to dress it up, or add one of these other spooky invite add-ons:

• Spooky Wearables - Spider rings, face masks, and plastic vampire fangs are cheap and double as a wearablet that guests can bring to your party!
• Glow Jewelry - Include some glow bracelets and necklaces so guests can light up the night!
• Halloween Candy - Fill up a latex glove with Halloween candy and tie the top with a ribbon. Slip a spider ring onto one of the fingers and pass one out with each invite. Simple favor bags work, too. Everyone loves a little early Halloween candy!

Halloween Decorations and Party Supplies
A great Halloween house party demands great Halloween decorations and party supplies. Start by turning your yard into a ghoulish Halloween scene!  Set up any number of great spooky Halloween decorations like a graveyard or a haunted pumpkin patch filled with scary jack 'o lanterns.

Make sure your house stands out from the rest!  Add a few spooky personalized decorations to your entrance:

• Halloween Banner: Hang a custom banner over your door or sign-in table.  Add a creepy message!
• Monster Cutouts: A life-size cutout at the door of you as a mummy, witch or even dracula makes for a great photo op!
• Halloween Wearables: If someone forgot a costume, make sure to have a big bowl at the entrance filled with masks, hats, and accessories.  Dressing up is half the fun!
• Ghost Luminaries: Draw ghost faces on white paper bags with black marker and add a votive candle.  Line your walkway with dozens of "ghosts"!
• Keep Out! Door Decoration: Wrap your front door with caution tape and add a "Keep Out" sigh for an easy door decoration.  Spotlight with green lighting for an eerie glow.
• Get the Kids Involved! Let them help you make ghosts to hang from the trees. Get small white garbage bags and fill them with paper or leaves. Tie them off at the "neck" and add a sting to hang with - cute and easy. You can also get pumpkin theme garbage bags for all of your leaves. The kids will love this Halloween house party idea... and you'll get a clean yard out of the deal!

Keep it simple when decorating the inside of your home for a Halloween House Party! These spooky ideas are easy to do but will still give your guests a good scare:

• Use fishing line to hang witch hats from the ceiling and string an led light stick on the inside of each one to make it glow!
• Jack-o-lanterns aren't just for outside!  Line carved pumpkins on your mantel or up your stairs.  The more the better!
• Stretchy spider webs look spooky on stair railings and chandeliers!
• Hang a black balloon in the corners of your ceiling and add black crepe paper "legs" for a creative and inexpensive decoration.
• Put a black cauldron in your fireplace.  Add water, dry ice, and an led stick to make your cauldron bubble and glow!
• Wrap doors and off limit areas in yellow caution tape.
• Don't forget lighting!  Orange and purple string lights and black lights will give your house party the perfect Halloween feel.

Of course, you'll want to decorate your guests, too. Set out bowls of glow jewelry and light up accessories throughout your home.  Your friends will light up the night!
 

Halloween Table Decorations and menu ideas
There is plenty of opportunity for some gruesome party decorations on your buffet and party tables. Mix and match a few of these scary ideas:

• Pile plastic skulls in tall clear vases for creepy centerpiece that doesn't break the bank.
• One of our favorite crafty Halloween house party ideas: Fill 3 jars with water. Put cauliflower in one, cooked spaghetti in another (with red food coloring) and small onions in another. Label them brains, intestines and eyeballs. Yum.
• Clean out a large pumpkin and add a pot of mums to fit. The pumpkin makes a fun vase, and you can reuse the mums after the party!

There will be plenty of Halloween candy at your house party, but make sure

• Corpse Buffet: Put a plastic skeleton on your buffet and arrange appetizers and desserts in and around the skeleton for a gory corpse buffet!  Fill the skeleton with pigs-in-a-blanket, pulled pork sliders, ribs.
• Candy Apple Bar: Set out a tray of sliced apples with carmel and chocolate drizzle with an assortment of toppings (M&Ms, nuts, sprinkles, crushed Oreos, toffee bits).   
• Graveyard Taco Dip: Make a standard taco dip recipe but add cracker "gravestones" to the top.  Sprinkle with green onions as the "grass".
• Pumpkin Dip: Make a pumpkin dip bowl by cutting off the top of a pie pumpkin and cleaning out the inside.  Add your favorite chip dip!
• Syringe Shots: Make jello shots in oral syringes for a Halloween theme twist!
• Cauldrons: Serve snacks like popcorn, chips, snack mix and candy corn in black plastic cauldrons.  Make a drink cooler with a large cauldron and ice.  Addwater with personalized Halloween water bottle labels!

You'll want to keep clean up simple, too! Black and orange paper goods are easy to toss in the trash after trck-or-treaters head home.

Halloween house Party Activities
Start your Halloween house party with a costume contest!  You can set up a red carpet runway or just have guests vote on their favorite costumes throughout the night. Make sure to hand out prizes to the winning categories - Funniest, Scariest, Best Couples Costume, Laziest, and Sexiest, Most Creative, and Best Overall Costume. 

Guests will also love these entertaining Halloween activities:

• Halloween Photo Booth: Attach photo props to dowel rods and stick them in a black cauldron nearby so friends can get spooky!
• Halloween Witch Photo Op: Friends will love taking group pictures with this!

Halloween Party Favors
Expect a trick if your don't send your guests home with a little treat! Choose one of these fun Halloween party favors:
Sticky Spider Webs: Fill bags with cotton candy and add a black spider ring. Don't forget a tag that says "Sticky Spider Webs" so guests get the joke!

• Corpse Hand Trick or Treat:  Fill a clear medical glove with halloween candy and tie the top with a bow! A fun twist on a favor bag.
• Candy Apples:  Loaded candy apples make a delicious and decadent Halloween treat. 
• Halloween Smores:  Fill a poly bag with pumpkin marshmallow peeps (you can find them in stores around Halloween), a chocolate bar, and some graham crackers for a Halloween themed smore pack.
