It should be fine. Don'e worry too much about having places for everyone to sit, just keep them moving. Use a bedroom for the bar and spread out the snacks in several rooms. Put your music downstairs. Just gather everyone together for the birthday cerimonies.

If you are planning on a sit-down meal, plan it like a restaurant and put tables in all the rooms. A stereo system with a microphone and speakers in every room would be handy
