Hello there and Help! I am having a party end of June and need help with concept and wording of invitation. She is getting married in Las Vegas with just immediate family and is shy about any parties in her honor. I don't want gifts to be the focus (nor does she!) How to do that? Also, should I call it an "open house"? Is 2PM to 7PM ok with just hors d'oeuvres and deserts? I'm nervous about taking the time out to put out an actual buffet and wonder if just continuous food works? Probably not. With no gifts and continuous food there's nothing to structure it, right? Help!
