Tracy, I think I could write you a poem. My sisters and I are poets and songwriters. I have written retirement poems for lots of people at work and people seem to really love them because they truly are personal and keepsakes....I would need information about your cousin....the more you tell me the better I can come up with something....for instance....something funny you did together as children, her first name, any nick names you have for each other, things you've cried together over, her pet's name, her favorite color, does she have a serious boyfriend, your husband to be's first name, her age......I think you get the picture. How long do you want it? I could take the information you give me and write something and then you can critique it and if there's anything in there you don't like you can let me know and I can redo it....I most always like a little touch of humor in it somewhere and then end on a sentimental note and it has never failed to bring tears (of joy of course)....so if you want me to try just e-mail me the info and I'll be glad to help. It's one of my favorite things to do...along with helping to plan weddings...LOL. Now about your colors....I'm going to be honest so please don't take offense. I think the groom and groomsmen should always be in black....it is just much classier than any other color in my opinion. When is your wedding? The time of year would depend on the color for the bridesmaids if it were me. I personally don't care for navy....but if that is your favorite color what about bridesmaids in a two piece dress with navy long skirt and a lilac top...like a very formal tube top...shoulders bare with a light weight navy wrap maybe...then the flower girls in lilac would blend in nicely. Or a deep lilac for the bridesmaids and a lighter shade of lilac for the flower girls....with lots of purples, lilac, perwinkle blues and pinks for your flowers. do you feel like I'm taking over here....please just take what you like and leave the rest. Let me know about the poem, your age and the month of your wedding. Thanks for letting me help. Carol Jo
