Make your scavenger hunt a video scavenger hunt. Make your guest get pictures things from the neighbors and nearby businesses such as a bow tie, an old prom dress, a corsage(especially an old one that's been pressed or preserved), etc.
More slogans: Poop on Prom!, Proms are perverted!, Pity the Prom Queen!.
Why don't you make a punch be your centerpiece. Make the punch in a large pot instead of a punch bowl. Mix 2-3 colors of powdered drink mix together to make a brownish, icky color. You can make an ice ring with plastic worms and bugs in it. I hope you have a great time with this. When's the party?
