There is a very cool, very fun book called "Cocktail Parties For Dummies" which comes with a wonderful little card that has a table for the amount of alcohol and food you'll need for different sizes of parties. If I had the card at work with me, I'd give you an answer now! However, since my last party has ended, I'm not carrying the book around everywhere...

However- if your friends are anything like mine, I would just buy as much liquor as you can- anything leftover you can keep! heehee
