I had tried to find a poem for my daughter's wedding shower and got frustrated, found something very short on-line and decided to add to it. So if anyone would like to use if, feel free. I recently did this for a friend of mine who was getting married, she's over 40 and I didn't know what I could get her, this was the hit of the shower, everyone wanted a copy of the poem. Everything in capital letters I bought and put in a laundry basket. Sue

(Date of Shower)
Dear (Bride) & (Groom):
I’m so happy for both of you as you begin your new exciting adventure together and I would like to help you begin that memorable journey with some small tokens of my friendship and this poem.
(Bride’s Name), I’ll let you in on a little SECRET, while (Groom’s Name) may be FANTASTIK most of the time, you may find out that he is not always MR. CLEAN, but don’t send out the S.O.S. because you may scare him and he might VANISH.
At night he’ll wake up and want to SNUGGLE and CARESS your skin as he tells you that it is as white as a DOVE or he may just wake you up to tell you that you put a BOUNCE in his step.
(Bride’s Name), I want you to know that if you ever need to talk you can DIAL me up and I’ll be GLAD to listen to you RAVE about how SUAVE (Groom’s Name) is or (Groom’s Name) may call to SHOUT about how the SPARKLE has gone out of her eyes when she looks at him. As long as you both remember your PLEDGE to one another to love, honor, cherish and maybe obey.
I’m sure everyone would AGREE with my good wishes for both of you. I wish you good luck and good fortune in the years to come; I hope that your love is like a COMET and that your home is filled with lots of happiness and JOY.
HUGS & KISSES,
