I have volunteered to organize a block party on October 16. We are planning a pumpkin carving contest for the kids (each child will receive an award) and a chili cookoff for the adults. I'm looking for a catchy theme (for example--Chili Maguire: Show me the Chili, The Big Chili, etc.). I've considered calling a local fire department to see if a firefighter might be our celebrity judge. Any ideas for a chili theme would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
