Here's some questions that might help you clarify what you want to do:

Do you have a time and place for the party?
Do you have any kinds of food, or snacks to eat, and drinks?
Is it a theme party?
If it's a theme party...do you have costumes or food, or decorations to match the theme?
Do you have music for the party? ...a lot of times parties have music...my parents parties almost never have music...and I've been to lots of them without...but it's pretty common to have music that people like.
Do you have a schedule?...i.e.
7pm guests arrive; snacks are available and music is playing...you have a place for their coats...and clear signs to the restrooms.
Will you have any prizes? Cheesy ones are ok...it is a party after all :)
Do you have an ending time for the party?...or is it an all nighter?

7:15pm 1st game
7:35pm 2nd game
8pm break, and eat snacks...do a door prize drawing (but only if you have given out raffle tickets...or if the guests put their names in a hat so you can draw them out)
8:15 contest
8:35 3rd game
8:45 movie
10pm.........how late is the party?...will it be over early like at 10?...or go late? like midnight or later?
