Hello, a girl I work with did this theme for her daughter's birthday last year. She had the party on her back porch, and hung black plastic tablecloths all over the screens to make it dark like a disco! She also had a disco ball, strobe light, hung shiney cardboard cut out stars from the ceiling with fishing line. She also hung beaded curtains in the doorways and had posters of Backstreet boys, N Sync,Britney Spears, etc. all over the walls. They played CD's of lots of popular music, and also did the YMCA, Chicken Dance, Macerana, The Train, etc. There was also Karaoke. She also set several disposable cameras all around the room and let the guests enjoy (and help) take pictures! Favors were glow in the dark necklaces and bracelets,and someone also did glow in the dark face painting on the kids! The party was a big success!! Good Luck on yours!!!
