Look in your yellow pages if you can not do it yourself. You could add all kinds of musci from that era with the pictures. Musical libraries are on-line, and download from internet, A professional video should't cost that much. If you decide to return photos, have all seend you a self addressed stamped envelope. Flapper dresses and hairstyles were the rage. "Zoot suits and spats for men. Encourage all to dress up. Give prize for best costume. Get music from era and have dance contest. Prize or not. This could even be a dance-a-thon, with numbers on guests back for marathon dancing. Anything decadent, the era was a good time. Good decorations: Make area look like a backroom prohibition dance night club. Go with the 80 year old theme..eighty live goldfish in clear bowls on tables, eighty bottles of beer on a wall, eighty cans of spam, whatever..make it kooky funny. These can also be given away as door prizes for the following categories: Good categories for the family reunion theme are: oldest, most married, most kids, travled farthest, most changed in looks, keep categories fun sparkley candles, old pottery jugs (prohibition era) any kind of wooden kegs, crates, or barrels to lay around. Round tables with table cloths with cut out words of slang expressions of that time.."cat's meow" whatever. Old movie posters and stars. You can get these from movie mem. outlets. Find on internet, and have blown up at your local office supply store. Cheap! You may also find at a library or old movies. You could have old movies playing on screen from video in backround to get the "feel". Cigarette holders with name cards as place markers for women, (these would be easy to make from wooden dowels, paper, glitter, beads, and ribbon...and big fat cigars for men. If anyone has an old auto, it would be perfect to take pictures by. Find the most popular foods from era and have all potluck. Good Luck!
