The white elephant game is so much fun. We actually played it last night. The rukes are simple. Everyone coming is to bring a wrapped gift. I say if it as a couple they have a choice of 1 good gift and 1 whatever they want gift. If it is a single person they can bring whatever they want. Once they arrive they place it in a designated spot for the white elepohant gifts. Noone is suppose toknow who brought which. Once all guests are there count each guuet. if there are 15 people then there should be 15 gifts. Write down numbers 1-15 and put them in a bowl. Have everyone draw a number. The person who has #1 goes first and draws from the pile. They must then open the gift for all to see. The person with #2 then goes. That person can wither draw from the pile of gifts or take away what #1 has. If they take away from #1 then #1 gets to go again. Lets say you are at #8. That person can take awaya from anyone or draw. Once a gift has been passed around 3 times, the 3rd time it is frozen and cannot be taken. You cannto take back a gift someone just stole from you. It is such a fun game and you will laugh. Especially when people really go after cetain gifts. And whnt some of the gag gifts come up they are usually hilarious. Once a friend wrapped up a box of sees candy. All were gone but 3 which each had abite taken out of them and in side was a note saying some stuff and then "GOTCHA HA HA HA". We all got a laugh out of that one.

This game is fun. Some people let the person with #1 go again at the end but i don't. Have fun
