The opera house in the play is in Paris, so how about a French menu. You can find some great French recipes at ffcook. Also, if you need a place card idea I would alternate a long stem red rose (ladies) and a phantom mask (men) with a name card attached. Stamp the name card with a music note stamp. Set the table with a white table cloth, black runner, Silver candelabras, alternate black and white napkins, Sprinkle red rose petals on the black runner. Keep the lights low and definitely use Oni's idea of a fog machine.
