At our Christmas party, we do a "white elephant" gift exchange. However, there is no buying involved. Everyone finds something home that is no longer being used (like something you would put on a garage sale) and wraps it up and brings it. then you draw numbers and person #1 starts by picking a gift. then #2 can either steal that gift or picka new one. the idea is to have fun with it. You will get some REALLY bad stuff and some neat things. the whole "stealing" aspect makes it a hit. you do have to set some rules though.
