First of all let me say that I think its absolutely adorable that your 6 year old wants an Elvis party. There are a few ways to go around this you could have everyone dress up as elvis fancy dress. Do different things like elvis at the beach, football elvis, camping elvis, office elvis, where they all dress up and wear a wig. That way no real elvis costumes need to be made (except for maybe your son) Play musical chairs and statues, pass the parcel to elvis music. Make a hound dog cake? I'm just rambling off ideas here - hope I have helped your thought process.
