My Boyfriend recently had his 18th birthday and i hope my solution will help you out. i set up kind of a little treasure hunt, i taped an envelope to his car while he was at work telling him he had to work for his presents.then i would give a simple enough clue leading him some where(for example i told him to go where he'd "find nemo" which was the fish store.)waiting there was a gift and clue held onto by the store clerk. after three or four clues he had all of his presents and was directed to my house. when he came inside there was a surprise party with all of his friends waiting it was the best party id been to in a long time, and my grateful boyfriend was happier than i could have imagined! email me if u want anymore info.
