Thanks to this board & you wonderful people, I did not bother shopping around, I went directly to J Lowy & they quick & courteous & I thought reasonably priced.
Deb- just a quick note ref credit card co's. I have worked for a "major" credit card company in customer service (I mentor other reps now)for 16 years & there is only so much leverage the credt car co's have. If your original order to them shows shipping 2-4 weeks (or something like that) we would make the merchant prove that it was shipping within that timeframe; however, if your order does not state a timeframe, all merchant has to do is prove that it was shipped, even if you refuse it, the merchant does not have to issue credit (nor does the credit card company have to chargeback the merchant). I wish you luck with both your affair, as well as with your dispute against the merchant. (Here's hoping it ends in your favor & does not blemish what should be the best time of your life.)
