My wife and I are buying a tallis for our sons Bar Mitzvah. The "standard" size is 18"x72" (WxL). That is the size I had as a kid (and still have). My question is, would a 22x72 or even 24x72 be too wide. We wear them folded lengthwise around our necks, not as shawls. Any input would be appreciated.
