i used to make hand painted t-shirts for my kids and their friends when they were younger. my mom also did alot of knitting. often we purchased labels for our stuff at stores that sold yarn and knitting supplies, sewing supplies, etc. good fabric stores and yarn shops often carrie really neat labels (ie: made especially for:, or made with love) you get the idea. sometimes we sewed them in, other times they were iron-on. try one of the larger fabric or yarn or crafts outlets in your area. good luck and mazel tov
