Oh yes, the issue of not getting invited to others' parties is a whole 'nother misery! I really just want this whole year to be over. With a socially unskilled child, the whole Bat Mitzvah year experience is like putting an official "UNPOPULAR" stamp on her forehead. It breaks my heart. And it makes me feel nastily jealous of every other kid, not a good feeling. Boy, I wish we had cousins to pad the guest list with, but we had our kids relatively late in life, and the cousins are all adults. Thanks for letting me know I'm not alone in this.
