Hi Ladies - Can you all please form a posse and get my builder and all his crap out of my house and my garage? I need to make my centerpieces and I can't becasue the garage is full of sawdust. He was suppoed to be done 3 weeks ago. He's killing me. When I think of everything I have to do this weekend I really freak out. He just called - he's so nice, such a great guy...BUT I STILL WANT HIM OUT OUT OUT OUT!!
My son was practicing the songs he;s going to play during the service yesterday and I got all choked up. Not enough, mind you, to write my speech. Actually I had an interesting idea, which DH vetoed, that I talk about all the things DS does that annoy me and explain how they will be positive things in the future (ie persistence when arguing, strength when beating up little brother, values money, etc). Hm, not exactly PC. I'm going to use your speeches to help.
DH finally emailed SIL about her email about how "public speakign is not my thing" and how it seemed they didn't consider it an honor. His email was much too nice and he wouldn't let me edit it. However, she responded appropriately this morning saying "Please don't misunderstand what I was saying, it is an honor, blah blah blah blah". Yah, okay. Whatever.
Everything else seems under control except for the amount of $ I have to write checks for. I finally found someone to do my makeup - the 16 yo daughter of a friend of mine. Totally Jewish American Princess, she is gifted in this area and has done others for their events, and I am so happy to pay a kid that realy needs spending $.
I guess I've blabbed long enough. I am very unfocused at the moment so I am going to sit for 2 hours and have my hair highlighted for the first time ever. I love my hairstylist and the gay guy she shares a salon room with. Very chatty and fun.
OH - AGAIN - I AM GOING TO POST SOME PICTURES ON MY EBAY LISTINGS - SNEAKY BUT EASY. IF ANYONE HAS PICS THEY WANT TO EMAIL ME OF THEIR EVENTS, PLEASE DO SO AND I WILL POST ON THE BOARD WHERE TO FIND THEM!! The only way we can share pics!!!
