As we approach (it's here already) the High Holidays -I've made a few committments to myself...

I will try to stop obsessing over the planning of the BM and relax for 10 days. During this tme, I will (try) not to "just stop in the store" to see what dresses they have - for me or my daughter.

I will (try)not to run the check the board the minute I wake up.

I will try to focus on the moment at hand and enjoy spending time with family and friends...typing the guest list can wait a few more days.

I will try not to do 10 things at once - OK, maybe just 2 or 3.

And most important I will spend time talking to my parents and inlaws about their parents and their Gparents - and make sure that my children know who and where they come from.

And on that note - l'a shana tovah to you all!
