Two things I can suggest:
1) I practice yoga & when I can't sleep there are some wonderful mind calming poses that really do work! You can either do a few poses during the day to calm your mind or right before bed. I'll tell you the easiest ones - which even if you are a true beginner you can do. Try the web site yogajournal, look under "Therapeputic applications" choose "Insomnia". The easiest poses to do from those that will come up are: seated forward bend & standing forward bend. If you can do downward facing dog to any degree that one is a great help also.(Put your hands on a wall, to simplify & modify the pose, rather than on the floor.)
Good luck.
2) Try a homeopathic remedy called "Calming" by BHI found in health food stores. As you may know, homeopathic remedies are safe to take in conjunction w/ other meds. This one works great if you take 1 - 3 tabs sublingually just before bed. It is also good for anxiety - which of course you're not feeling lately! HA. The bottle will tell you more.

Sweet dreams. And remember those days before you gave birth you didn't sleep much either. It will all work out. I just hope when my turn comes I don't get big fat pimples from lack of sleep.
