I went to a Bar Mitzvah where the centerpieces were instruments all done in styrofoam and completely sprayed and glued in sparkles. It was a black, white and silver theme. One table had a guitar, one a sax, etc. It was beautiful. The placecards had a picture of the instrument, probably scanned out of the computer...that way you knew you had to go to the 'drum' table, the cards were also 'dusted' with sparkles, adding to the festivities.
