I think you have the right idea exactly. It is perhaps a once in a lifetime moment (perhaps you'll be lucky to have several occasions in a lifetime), to have an audience completely listening to you. I don't believe anyone can write this speech for you except you. You have the floor, and the moment. It's up to you what impression you want to leave your guests with. Some people like to add a little or a lot of humour, some like to give anecdotes. I think a lot of what you say has to do with the delivery as well. Don't rush as if it's a chore. Captivate your audience with your presence, maturity, wisdom, wit etc. Remember to breathe.... Whatever you do, please do not make this a moment to 'roast' your siblings or parents. It can leave a bad taste for everyone. Keep your speech relatively short, hopefully upbeat, and try and include at least one remarkable Hope this helps, L.
