Our party was black tie, and we printed a little black bow-tie on the bottom left of the invitation. It got lots of positive feed back. Wording the invitation is very personal - for my son we used: In the tradition of his fathers and grandfathers before him, please join us when our son is called to the Torah.etc. We found it in a book of invitations, yet got almost 100% feedback on the wording alone. Everyone was touched by it! Good luck.
