My daughter's bat mitzvah is this Saturday. I have really appreciated this web site and have been helped in many ways. Thanks to all of you who have added ideas and answered questions, especially Heidi and Zozzi!!! If I can pass on any advice to anyone....it is this: start planning a year ahead of time. It is not to early! Set up a time line and stick to your deadlines. Then, all you will have to do the last week is focus on your child, your family and yourself. There are always last minute details, but they should be manageable! I'll be back in 3 years for my sons Bar Mitzvah! What an incredibly blessed life we have to have to worry about such little details....To everyone: plan far enough ahead so that you can relax the last week and enjoy the moment. It is 3 days to go for me, and I'm going out to lunch with my husband for Valentine's day :).
