Well Molly, I think the frog theme is fun and there are several ways to work this out. Why don't you have frog themed centerpieces on the teen tables and your mom can have a centerpiece of her choice...all you have to do is coordinate the colors.
Donating centerpieces is a wonderful idea. How about using stuffed frog animals in your centerpiece and donate them to a children's center, or books about frogs...
