I understand exactly your worries. We live in the Pacific Northwest. There are very few Jews where we live. Our family (the jewish side) is back east and in California. Our synagogue is 30 miles north of here. We've invited about the same number as you. I, too, am afraid of people not coming. Especially since the service is in the morning (30 miles away) and the reception in the evening (in town). I've been telling everyone about the event for months hoping that they'll realize they are invited, will save the date, and will get excited about the event. I'm crossing my fingers. I also intend to send out the invitations 10 weeks prior to the event, not the standard 6 weeks.
