Bar/Bat Mitzvah Traditions

I am not Jewish, but my wife's Aunt is - both of us were invited to her kids' Bar/Bat Mitzvah in San Jose and we're wondering about the traditions of the party and what traditional songs are played (aside from dance music) and anything else you can think of. If there are websites to visit that might have words to traditional songs, please include the links! We'd like to be "prepared" and know what to expect - I thought that would be a nice surprise for my Aunt.
