I do agree with the "above and beyond" thoughts, but at $4,000, I expect my DJ to go above and beyond. In this case, I feel I am paying him more than enough for his services! I do, however, plan on tipping the dancers if they do a great job. I'm sure they are making very little compared to the price I am paying for the DJ's package. Also, my videographer has a clause in his contract that the videographer must be given a meal- if not, an additional $200 fee will be charged. I think that he should be given something to eat, especially considering what a long day it will be for him (service and affair). I was wondering, though, if it would be tacky to have him eat from the children's buffet rather than get a "guest's meal"?? I was thinking of doing the same for the DJ and dancers-??
