I've had suggestions of both "No Religion is an Island" and also "Prayer for Peace" (I'm not sure if that is the same as "Prayer for our Country") Flipping through the siddur during servies though I've also come across a few nice prayers about women and I think I will ask the rabbi if she can read something like that ... something that would be more meaningful to their relationship rather than the generic "let's find something for the shiksa to read" LOL.
