Wow! Do all of the helper feel this way? If so the four of you need to sit down and talk to the expecting mother and discuss this. It seems that she became over joyed and from what I remember at my sisters baby shower...we didnt allow her to have a say in anything. Not in a rude way..she gave us ideas and we would take some and leave others out. The Mother does have a right to know what is going on but she doesnt have a say in what should go on. It maybe her day but its your check book and things need to be discussed. Like I said talk it out with the other ladies first and if all of you agree sit down and discuss a logical way to figure everything out. The best of Luck. And remember the baby shower will be great even if you cant book an entire lunch.
