Play just as Sara Williams explained but don't hand the cups to guests as they walk in, hand them out when pretty much everyone has arrived. That way it's an even race. Obviously if you give it to the very first person who arrives they are more susceptible to winning. Also, the people who arrive a little late might not get a chance to play. :o)
