Hello, I'm in a pinch. My sister is due with her first LONG awaited baby in 1-1/2 months, I offered to host a baby shower and she agreed. The other day when I asked for list of names, she suggested that we do a "cyber shower". When I inquired about it, she said it's when I e-mail all of her friends and relatives, living close and far. I would invite them all to attend the baby shower at my home, if they cannot make it, request them to send a gift to arrive at my house on a certain date so that all that do attend may see all of the gifts for the baby. Here's my problem... isn't it rude to send an invitation to someone you KNOW won't be able to come and expect them the send a gift? Actually the whole thing is insane to me, most of the people really live to far away to make the trek up here for the shower... should I just tell her no, or should I look like a rude hostess that just wants baby presents for my sister!!!???
