With the help of photographs, slides and home movies, I'm starting with a list of 25-30 "inside" family stories about when I was young. My plan is to use an introduction about leaning a lot of life's lessons from mom & dad, segueing into an idea borrowed from another writer that starts "I may no longer the be the little girl who" (short description like: "created shampoo hair hats in the tub"), and complete each story with "but you taught me that... (e.g. "style is more about how you feel about yourself than how you look"). With a little thought, I discovered I could tie in a lot of my adult values into these little stories. I'll know in May how it all went off! Good luck to you!
