I have never heard of that! That is strange because you aren't selling the music! Anyway, can you arrange with a local artist to come play? For instance, a violinist, guitarist, trumpet player, etc. Also on some songs that are older, the copyright laws have run out. Any DJ would be able to play the songs, wouldn't they? it does not make sense to me. Good luck.
